TSA EVENTS
These are some of the events that our club has been working on the 2015 - 2016 school year. Participants include Dais Perez, Ingrid Sanchez, Kathy Ramirez, Abigail Garcia, Diego Landaverde, Ali Rami, George Sawyer, Billy Elliott, Taylor Peters, and Trenton Frailey.

Animatronics/Engineering

Animontronics - Participants demonstrate knowledge of mechanical and control systems by designing, fabricating, and controlling an animatronics device that will communicate, entertain, inform, demonstrate and/or illustrate a topic, idea, subject or concept. Sound, lights and a surrounding environment must accompany the device.
Engineering Design - Participants work to design and fabricate a device that will meet the specific needs of a person with a disability. Through use of a model/prototype, display, and portfolio, participants document and justify their identified problem and solution, as well as the solution’s impact on a member of their community and on society.
On Demand/Digital Video Pro.

On Demand Video - Our students write, direct, and create a video on-the-spot based on the theme given at the competition. We work all day and night to write and edit the video. We have to work on the spot and use any available materials at our disposal.
Digital Video Production - Our students have created a film based on the 2016 theme "Stopping Social Media Bullying". Our film could only be a maximum of 5 minutes and focus on the theme.
Our film was named "It's Me" and it focuses on the tragic story of Kim-la in a new school where she has to deal with bullies online.

Music Production - Participants produce an original musical piece that is designed to be played during the national TSA conference opening or closing general sessions.
Video Game Design - Participants teams per state develop an E+10-rated game that focuses on the subject of their choice.

Flight Endurance

Participants have the opportunity to build, fly, and adjust (trim) a model to make long endurance flights inside a contained airspace. Any model design is acceptable if the model complies with the event specifications. Our members Ali Rami and Trenton Frailey have been working stressful hours throughout the year perfect their model and reach their goal. Their devotion towards this project is what allowed them to continue to state comference.
